Got to hate it, when they do that. Kinda makes you feel a little unneeded

I had a bulldog once, that at night I would walk around the property with a spotlight and a hand full of rocks. I would spotlight a rabbit, throw a rock his direction, and the dog would go off chasing the rock and get turned on to the rabbit. He never caught the rabbit but it was just a pretty fun way to kill some time. After a week or so of doing this the bulldog got to where he didnt need me to throw the rock anymore. As soon as we went to walking, he would shoot off and leave me in the dust, running the woodline looking for rabbits on his own and come back 30min laters with his tounge touching his feet.
