Grittydog,

If your handle indicates the type dog you like, you will probably be very happy.  A lot of the Ben genetic dogs tend to be a little rough.

What are you looking at...pup or older dog?  Do you know who the parents are or who the breeder is/was?

For the most part they are self-starting, very well bred documented working dogs that are capable of doing anything.  There are currently dogs tracking bears for the state of New Jersey and the state of Lousiana, tracking inmates for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, treeing coons, hunting squirrels, catching coyotes, working cattle, catching hogs and any other thing you could imagine.

I stumbled upon the dogs by accident a little over a year ago when I was given a 2 year old yard dog.  First time laying eyes on a hog he bayed his tail off, second time in the woods he struck a hog at a 1/2 mile out.  I was so impressed, that I began talking to people and reading everything  I could find about these dogs.
