Seeing dogs stop a groupe of hogs that have broke or dumping the box on some hogs going across a pasture and they get to the front and stop them all or having a bunch of hogs bayed and a dog drifts off in the woods and comes back with hogs that join the bunch, these are the things that does my old heart more good than catching the biggest boar or 10 hogs in a morning. It makes me feel like I have done my job in breeding all these years. Not loseing what I was given is important to me.

I could not have said it better my self.  I kick my self every day as I see the calibre of dog I have expereinced slipping away little by little and for not having the resourses to do enough to preserve it.  But hopefully one day I will and all this preparation will pay off soon and I will have more time and be better able to keep the line of dogs I love going strong.  I consider these kinds dogs to be a treasure, and I an thankfull that I have been accepted and allowed to be a part of it and cherish it accordingly.  It may not be everybodys cup of tea but it is mine and in my opinion these kinds of dogs still make the best hog dogs and always will.

Thanks for all the intrest and comments hopefull one day I can get something like this together

Waylon.
