I just like the dogos, I have never personally owned or hunted with the AB, so i don't know enough about them to spend that kind of money on one. i can get a pit bull anytime for alot less money, w/out papers of course. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that any one dog is better or worth more than the other, just that if i had that kind of money to spend, i would get a dogo because they are harder to come by, especialy around these parts, and have the size that i like. It's just hard for me to imagine payin $800 for any breed of dog at 6-8 weeks old.
. On the other hand if i had it to spend i wouldn't think twice about it, if it was what i liked and had the genetics that were desirable to me, it wouldn't matter if it was a pit, dogo, or AB, as long as it could catch hogs.
