I was just saying this weekend, that if Annie and Brandy keep ranging out like they are, I am going to have to separate them.
Hunted Annie and Ruby(Brandy pup) last Thursday and they made a couple 3/4 mile loops, but they at least made loops. Then they hunted in a little closer the rest of the night. Same story when I hunt Brandy. But you put Annie and Brandy together on the Flatonia place, they'll make a large ranch seem too small. I don't know if it's just the open country, or if they are just really used to hunting that place. I have been joking around calling them my cold weather dogs...put them on the ground, then get back in the truck in the heater and wait until they bay
Heck, I might actually start hunting them that way.
