I use a small clip on light that goes on my hat for just walking around. But I have a rechargeable Mag-Lite that I use going to a bay or caught hog. Its bright, waterproof and lasts most of the night. You can also recharge it from the truck. I have a neoprene sleeve on mine that I got at Bass Pro. The sleeve has a clip on it so you can clip it on your belt loop to free your hands when legging a hog. Works great for me and I have only had to buy one new rechargeable battery for it in 5 years.
