Out of the reds you have owned/hunted, what percentage if you had to guess turned into a top strike dog?......just curious.....
Cody,,I have had a lot of red dogs and had to cull very few. Most red dogs at least make medioker dogs by my standards. I would say 50 % of the red dogs I've trained made decent strike dogs..I've only owned maybe 5 crackerjack strike dogs in my life.I've owned many good strike dogs but only 5 or 6 that was what I call crackerjack.3 has been red,,one yellowblk mouth & one brindle..I've never owned any dog that did'nt have some kind of fault..Then again I'm a pretty harsh judge of strike dogs,,lol You know how it is about the time you start to brag on one too much !!! lol
