I also. Hear that alot of y'all have pits with a whole lot of heart but if I get a pit that does not have as much heart as y'alls I don't wAnt to have a dog die
I lookin for some thing that has enough power weight and strenth to go after any hog....

Size is no substitute for heart in a catch dog. It is sometimes nice to have size but the heart is a MUST no matter their size. I have seen a 160lb Mastiff X that people thought was a catch dogs and we ended up having to go back and get my little 40lb pit to close the deal!

No matter the size or breed of the dog, IT MUST have the heart! If your first one does not, cull it and get another, and another, and another, until you find the one who will catch and hold till death without a second thought. Anything less may be big and ugly but it aint a catch dog.
