We are using this month to really spend time with 2 young dogs so that they have the experience and confidence to find trail and hold bay on their own hogs.  Along with this is the fact of them not being ruff dogs to catch out on hogs that otherwise our old dogs would.  that would then allow us to cut and release some fine boar hogs.   I don’t like having to kill hogs when otherwise I can save them for another day but here again we have to know that we give these young dogs the education and experience that they need so that they can be lead dogs one day.   Had some good hunts this weekend and caught a few with em.

Taking that time to concentrate on them will pay dividends down the road.
