Christmas is an awesome time of year not only for the present but memories of past Christmases.
Growing up in a rural setting in the late 50's and 60's was exciting.  We would walk through the woods as a family looking for that perfect cedar tree to cut down and take home to decorate. The smell of cedar in our home was awesome.  Dad would buy a box of apples and oranges and put them in an unheated back room of the house - the smell of those apples was fantastic.  Our small country church always put on a Christmas play for the congregation and public.  Those are special memories of learning lines and performing in the play each year.  One thing I miss is how everyone appreciated every gift they got.  We didn't have everything we wanted like most people do today.  People were truly grateful for what they were given.
Merry Christmas to all of you!!  God bless!!

Please share with us your special Christmas memory stories.  Thanks.

Mine is when my brother bought me a big bubba remote truck think I was 4 and it was cold cold.  Our swimming pool was frozen over and running that thing around it was fun lol then the next year they got me a bb gun and I couldn't hit anything with it so he had to shoot me a couple tweet tweets with it for me lol.  those are the ones I remember the best
