I'm looking to order some of the brass name plates that rivet onto collars.  All the ones I have gotten in the past from different vendors have been engraved on the top, but I have seen other peoples collars where it looks like the names are stamped from the back.  It makes the name and other info actually raised on the surface if that makes sense.  It seems like that would last better...the ones I have always used get hard to read over time.

Anyone know where to get these?

Call up Valley Creek and tell them to stamp it backwards. Then when you get it flip it.  Grin

I would think the raised stamp would get messed up just the same in time.

the last place I got name plates like that was Nite Lite you will have to look them up on the web. I think you can get them like that from Ugly dog too. Thats where I got my last name plates just don't remember if they are raised like you are talking about but I do know they are stamped and not ingraved.

Thanks.  I googled "nite lite" and it took me to a website called huntsmart.com where I found the tags I was looking for.  They look like this.

Thanks again!

BTW Cantex,  If you stamp from the bottom with regular stamps all the letters would read backwards when flipped.
