Boy i sure wish some would move down this way. I cant remember when the last time i saw rain was. you know its to hot and dry when you and your wife are walking and you spit and some of it is cought by the wind and sprays her and she thinks it is refreshing.

Gitdathawg, I need the rain to hold off for two more days....Got 40 acres of hay on the ground, and I plan to start baling tomorrow, and finish Sunday. Do you mind not doing your rain dance until Monday

Pretty slick looking setup. My favorite piece of hay equipment is this.... http://www.raftermequipment.com/pricingWe can pull into a field, load and strap 300 bales on a 32', and roll out in 45 minutes with one grapple running. Unfortunately we will be handling this hay "old school" this weekend. I am liable to shed a few pounds though

Enjoy it and get some Trina action pics to post.

Just got all our hay up 2day That rake is huge!!! Good luck on no rain Circle C, it really sucks to spend all that money on field just for it to get ruined by the rain. Its a gamble everytime.

Gitdathawg, We had one of those to use, but the travel distance from field to barn was quite a ways to only haul 160 per load.I think if we had two of them, it might work better. we also have a deweze bale wagon with conveyor to use, we just did it old school. Sold as much as we could out of the field, and hauled the rest home. We watched it rain from the field and never had a drop on the hay. Not sure how we got that lucky. Got the guys putting down another 60 acres today and tomorrow, and we will do it all again BTW, The man I am doing this with is somehow a relative of yours by marriage. He says the Hegars KNOW Hay
