Can you load more than 1 state map on 1 SD card? If so can someone tell me how? Thanks in advance

If you have the Garmin Mapsource software, you can load all you want.  Just select Transfer, then pick your device, and highlight what part of the map you want to transfer.

Yea thats what I was doing and each time I would only have the last state I put on the SD card.  I think I figured it out. Thanks

Have you tried to delete the files from the map card, then start over transferring all the states you want on there at once?

The most I have ever put on a single card is about 5 states, never tried any more than that...but it's only data, if there is room on the card, it should accept the data.
