Have you ever got a hook stuck in your finger or somewhere I did just this thing earlier this year, being a "fishing guide" i have this happen to people a lot so i think i;m pretty good at getting them out as painlessly as possible So i made a video of how i pulled the hook out to demonstrate to people do this WARNING::: There is Some SWEARING in this Videohere is the Video link; http://www.anglingaction.com/media/25/Hook_Removal/ I had a couple of guy's i was taking fishing take the hook out for me and they had not done it before

maybe it was just me, but i couldn't get the video to play jason. that picture looks like it's in there deep though. had a buddy of mine do that one day while we were wade fishing. he was getting a ribbonfish off of his topwater, the thing jerked and planted the treble deep in his thumb.

That is something everyone needs to see. That is a lot better than trying to yank a top water with pliers out of my cousins palm. Good video, thanks for posting it.

Man, could you explain exactly how you did that? I've taken a half dozen hooks out, some quite alot worse, and the only way I've known to do it was to punch it the rest of the way through, then cut the barb off, then back it out.
How did you take care of the barb issue?
