I had two littermate sisters that were 3/4 cur 1/4 pit that I got from Randy Tomlinson. They were bay dogs deluxe, never cared to put a tooth on a hog, and they would bay a 30# shoat until the catch dogs got there, then head out looking for another. Never once did I see them put a tooth on a hog.

I would say they are an exception though, as every other dog I have seen with any pit influence has been rough/catchy Wink

Its anybodies guess really. You will not know for sure until you try him but I will give you a guess based on what I have personally seen out of this cross.   Catch dogs!

I have one 1/2 BMC & 1/2 PIT,,full catch dog! No bark but on one boar in his life! On the other hand I have a 1yr old that hits as hard or harder than a Pitt. He is full of scars and hes just a year old? So you never know what your gonna get but more than likely catch! He is the one all the way to the left and if you look closely, he has many scares in just 6mons of hogs witch is over a 100.
