Well let me set the story up a little....I work down in the Galveston area and we have been seeing some really big hog tracks and some rooting that looks like a plow has went through the grass the last few weeks. We set up a feeder and have been filling it every night for about 2 weeks. Set up a ground blind about 10 yrds from the feeder and sat in it the last couple nights. Monday was the first night we sat in it and we saw 3 pigs that were beasts!!!! 2 were 300 + pounders and one was just sloppy huge!!! I would guess 400+ easy! ...Then Tuesday went again and watched the same 3 come in and then about 1/2 hour later, 10 more walked in. Only about 3 shoats and 1 big sow about 180lbs. The rest were boars about 100-180lbs and one boar about 250-280 lbs for sure. Wed we went again and saw the big boy and the 3 big boars again. Well last night my buddy wanted to get one with his bow so just after dark they walked up and he took one of the boars that we guessed was about 325-350. Took it at 7 yds and it was a good one. Drug it out with the JD Gator....Took some pics I will post in a few hours but this thing was a beast for sure...When pics get posted let me know what yall think...Going out with the dogs on Sat wish us luck these hogs are dog killers for sure with these teeth and they are huge!!!

Awesome! Hope the dogs find them. Salt marsh hogs are some of the meanest SOB's I've ever tangled with.

Well I hope that we keep everything safe and unharmed for sure...Bringing a bunch of catch power too...1 Dogo about 120#, 2 CatxBoxer mix that are about 80#, 2 AB's that are about 90# and 2 pitts 1 about 40# and the other about 50#. Strike dogs will be a Plott and a few BMC's...They way it is all set up i am thinking that we will not even need the Strike dogs...Just let the RCD's and the CD's go because they will have no way out once they come in. High fence and no way out.
