Got a call to try a new place and take a few guys hunting that were down from Kansas.  They had been shooting the hogs up the last couple days, so I wasn't really sure we'd see anything.  The dogs ended up striking this boar hog that was a runner.  It was nice because I got to watch my plott cross stretch out and run him down.  He finally sat him down in some briars and they went to bayin' till Brody and Debo got there to catch.

We quartered him up, cut out the backstraps and cooked him on my big pit for the dogs that night.  I dumped the meat into a wheelbarrow to let it cool and found the kids munching on it!
