On this hunt me and my buddy rode a while before we found some sign, and I had brought my yellow gyp and my catahoula while he brought his blue lep and a cat pup. I turned out my old gyp and could tell she fell in on something with my male dog and my buddy's blue dog behind her. Well my buddy brought his kids so I told him to stay with the bike and I would head in after them so I can be closer. Well i didnt have to walk far and could hear a bay and soon a squeal. I got to the shoat and the dogs rolled out and ran another hog for about 40 minutes, he just kept breaking and wouldnt set up. Well he found a nole in the middle of this break and I guess he said come and get me cause he set up good. It took me and my buddy 20 minutes to get to them but we sent the catch dog in and sealed the deal. Good boar about 200 pounds and the shoat weighed about 40. Good hunt but a cold one   |

Nice hunt and hogs. Give it a month...that water will be ready for you and a few other reptiles to start making a few swims.  |
