i havnt been on here for a while my comp has been playin up . anyway i took lil roly and massacre for there usual run a week ago and lil roly always runs right beside the car at the front tire . masscare is always playful and always pushes him and bites his ears and so on  . anyway i was running them on my second property and they were running around playing alot but then lil roly stopped playing and just come beside the car and ran beside the car . massacre thought he was still playing and run straight at him i was coming up to a hole on the road and looked over my side to get around it all the sudden i went over something it just felt like a bump , my brother in law steven said wait lil roly stopped i knew straight away i run him over cause he dont stop for nothing . i run back to him and he was wobbaly in his back legs i went to pick him up but he run to the car and jumped in the front i watched him as he headed towards the car and blood started coming out of his mouth thats when i got scared .  i got home rang the vet i would of took him straight in but it was sunday and no vets were open . anyway i rang them they said to just keep it quite and hope he lives to the next day .  i stayed up all night with him  till it come to morning and i rang vets straight up to tell them i was coming in . i went in to the vets and the looked him over and said he has bruised lungs and maybe craked ribs they gave me tablets to give him . its been a week and he seems ok but he has been hrough alot now and it might be time i have to retire him before he gets to worn out . i will try him on a few hogs and see if there is any problems when he is on them and if i find a problem that will be his last hog he wont like it of i do retire him but i will be doin what i think is best . in the 6 years ive had him he has never even been bumped by the car i didnt think i would ever have him under my wheel i guess it was a good thing i was only going slow when he went under . but anyway i will let all know if i decide to retire him but til then happy hunting everyone

Dang man hate to hear about that, hope he comes out 100 percent. I had an old catahoula that survived being run over 2 times. Some times there thougher then we think, hope yours learns to stay further away from cars mine never did, he would try and catch on the tire as a car went by

Dang Dylan, hopefully he'll get healed up and have a few more years of hog catching ahead of him.
