Saturday morning Colby and I, met Dalton, Daniel and Jim Bo out at the ranch in Madisonville. We had 3 of Van Dorn's dogs with us on the hunt, Blaster, Roxxy and Wilma.. Colby's leopard gyp JAckie and two of my pups Fawn and Drake.. Fifteen minutes into the hunt Blaster went about 900 yards down Bedias Creek and found this nice boar hog. The rest of the group got there and we knew he must have been nice or they would have caught him.. We had to walk in the last 400 yards because of a creek. So we were about 50 yards from the dogs when we heard them catch and hit the water. We came up over the bank to find the curr dogs trying to hang on but he was too much for him. Blaster and Fawn had him caught long enough to leg the hog but 12 foot shear banks didnt allow us to get down to them. finally they made it back over to solid ground and our side of the creek... we sent Cane, Daniels blue CD in to seal the deal. He went 225 on the scales back at the trailer and work Blaster over pretty good as he had a really great set of teeth on him.

Fawn Caught, Blaster, Roxxy, Wilma and Jackie

Daniel, Colby, Dalton, and Me
Cane

We kept hunting, Jackie struck a 180 lb sow and within a 100 yards the curr dogs had her caught. Roxxy and Wilma rolled out half a mile across Bedias on a shoat. We got them back and called it a day around noon.. Enjoy
