Maybe its just me but I'm not eating anything thats been marinating in diesel from the inside out. I'd just use regular corn and scent if I was going to eat them.

Corn/diesel... does that stop deer from eating it? That's the main reason I've never baited, the deer eat it all...

my dad told me once that pigs are one of the only animals that can eat poisons or other harmful things and throw it up before it does any damage to them. Dont know if thats true though.

I wouldn't tell to many people you are soaking it in diesel. If the wrong people hear that it's a hefty fine.

I would probally feed them out like you would a show hog to be on the safe side. Diesel contains chemicals like Benzene, which are highly carcinogenic(causes cancer). It's almost just the same as eating fish from a polluted river.

Everything you buy these days from the grocery stores has some kind of chemicals in it. Back when I trapped a bunch, I always used corn with diesel in it... worked good for hogs. Nothing else would touch it... coons would after it was rained on. I never "soaked" in diesel, i'd just pour some over the corn in a bucket and stir it up. And it tasted just like every other hog in the woods.

Well i think most of us do but there are areas that the hogs bother many people that you cant run dogs. For example this was in a nieghborhood.
