Dealing specifically with Glocks or Springfield xdm's, any of you have experience with either?  In the market, and just looking for a little first hand input.

I don't like the guide rods, they blink, I like one that stays solid.  Unless its going on a Glock 40 I would go with sonething like a TLR-2, that way you have a light, if it is for CC just get some trijicon night sights.  I always found that if i was looking for the dot on the target, i shot like crap and real slow followup as compared to looking down the sights at the target, just my 2 cents though

ive tried both, as well as a couple others, my problem with one of them and i dont rememer which was it had to be sighted, and it always bothered me, when the time comes what happens if the thing is outta whack?  best advce ican give you is the same i give the new recruits i train, dont rely on electronics they fail.  get some night sights youll be suprised how well they work and how much they do help.
