G/f and I bought a house back in November. I knew that my first project was a set of kennels. Got with a buddy,Steve, and told him what I was thinking. He came up with a list of supplies and went to burning rods. Another friend and I poured the concrete. Not 100% done yet but pretty close. I plan to cut some r panel to  close up the side of the roof and cover up the 2x4 on the front.
11 yards of concrete
7 kennels
Got done with the fence around the house last week. The dogs have a 1/4 ac to run around in now. Makes it nice.  The kennels are 225 ffet from the house. We have a 14x24 b/t the kennels and the house. Plan to run water and power to the shed and have some flood lights pointing towards them so I can load dogs early and have some light to see in.

Those are really nice I love the way you raised the barrels and the perches.  My dad and I built some similar to yours and I think I will add the raised barrels.  Thanks for the idea.

cost was around 3500-4000. I really dont remember. I needed it to be supported by wood vs metal b/c I dont weld and I needed to be able to add to it on my own. I am happy with it thus far. Wish I would of done 8 kennels. I might add one on this summer. The kennels are 6x8. I thought that they were going to be small but they are perfect. Plus they have a decent size yard to run around in each day. We only have 2 ac but somehow the boss gave me the ok to fence in 1/4ac for them.

Looks nice, Mike.

Doesn't matter how many you build...If you'd built twenty, you'd be wishing for 25.
Sometimes I wish I would have only framed up about five...
