Here is a link to a recent thread in "equipment that works" over the same subject. I bought a pair of Chippewa's becasue the Danner's I ordered did not fit. I sent them back for a different size.
It sure is tricky for me to buy boots over the e net with the feet I have. Its a good idea to find a place that has what you are looking for and try them on.

My Chippewa's are working out real nice right now but I cant wait to put some miles on those new Danner's!

I agree 100% on the trying them on first, i have the same problem with boots.  i have been all over east tn, to every boot store i cold find, and nobody carries danners in stock, half the stores sell them, but because of the high price, they dont keep em.

Tnhillbilly,....I bought my Danners at Sportsman's Warehouse in Chattanooga. They had a pretty good selection of them as I recall. Call them before you go though, just to make sure since it's been several months since I was there.

I use chaps/leggins, my boys wear the boots.  He(16 yrs old) had the danners, he said for older guys the danners were the boot, COMFORT.  He didn't like the inside always pulled out and putting them on it moved around.  He has justins now and and the 9 yr old has hand me down chipawa and danners.
