I just wanted to say thanks to ole Todd (southeastplott) n djhogdogger for a good hunt. We went to a spot that joins my lease and caught 2 good barrs. I think they got some pics. it was a good and long hunt but them ole running hogs over thier are hard to get stopped.

Jason, me and James had a great time. Always a pleasure to hunt with you and Todd.  Those old runnin hogs will sure make you put your game face on... nevermind the bay just dump a bunch of gator mouthed dogs on the ground and get it done. LOL   James is mowing the grass right now but he is going to post pics when he is done. We got some pretty good pics.

Yes, all of the dogs and hunters were worn out. We started at 10:00pm and gave it up at 8:30am. I took a pic of one of Jason's dogs asleep with its head in a bucket....now that is just plain tired. LOL

Lol, actually the only thing chewed up on them was the ears and we don't eat them anyhow.  Grin Both hogs put up a heck of a fight and if they would just learn to hold still, their ears wouldn't get so tore up.  Wink

Them gator mouth dogs of Todds and them Piranhas of James will sure work on them hogs. I use to have real rough dogs and went from them to more bay type dogs but Im sure going to breed a little more ruffness back into my dogs.

That or its cause the land i hunt gets dogged about 3 times a week lol i'm runnin them off my buddies grandparents land so they'll be thick with deer instead of them ol hogs ... i got another ? whats up with people cuttin the ears off the boars but not cuttin them into barrs? almost every boar i catch out there has no ears and has never been cut?

Haha I hear you I am just jacking with you, I have a gyp that you an always tell what hogs she was on and what ear she was on cause she will do that.  You got the hogs caught and since you are eating them it don't matter either way.  I have only caught one barr in my time hunting so two in a night would real nice!
