Well we had been having a few dry runs here lately and with our main dog out with a broke jaw, we've been hunting with a couple of pups and a little older dog. We started last night at about 9:30 and let the dogs run for a little while and then load them up to take to some water being it was still around 86 and very humid. We got done with the first water and let the dogs run a little more and Hud our main strike dog on this hunt took out to the brush and was gone a couple of minutes and then he came back out in front of us to the other side of the road winding. He took out about 300yds and he started the bay, the pups followed in and a few minutes later we had a good bay goin. We took out with the CD (Little Bill) and finally got close enough to the bay to let Bill go in. This is the first hog that he's been on in awhile, he got to the bay and locked on and it sounded like we had a heck of a boar caught Shocked, we got to the dogs to see that the hog was on the side of a little bluff in a small cave with Bill, Hud, Pudge and curby on him. Thankfully he was only about 150-175 lbs. Cause where they had him caught there was no way to get in there. The dogs got him pulled out and we got him stuck.
All the bay dogs are ok, the CD has a pretty good cut on his front leg in the joint area but he's gonna be good.
I'll try to get some pics up when my buddy sends them to me later on today.
Sorry about the pic, thought it came out better.  Huh?
