Rockin-P-Ranch come to think of it you probably have the right idea there. when i got her she was a chained in the yard without a dog house type dog. i am almost certain he never messed with her and if he needed to get her she was on a chain so...... i will try the pecans dex.. Afro

btw dexter penny "sadie" is due to have a litter the end of august.

Taking the dog on walks on a lead helps alot, make her heel the proper way and they see you as pack leader. Walking helps them a ton but you also need to make sure your scent is on all the food you give her, handle the food before every meal.

Their nose is like our eyes ... let us know how she turns out.

Adding to my earlier post. If the dog does not come around within weeks then it is not environment and I would cull. At least nip her to prevent breeding. Then if she hunts use her but I would not breed her. You are the one feeding her so you make the call. I keep my dogs at my dad's because my wife gets too attached. I will put work into a dog but if it is a lot of work then I nip. If the dog never wants to hunt then I find someone that wants it and know it will never breed. I would never get rid of the dog without fixing it. If the dog shows potential it would be how much potential. But I only have a few dogs and plan to keep it a small group. So I started with a small group and they are on trial to see if they will be the bases of my dogs or be culled.
