This one was not killed....we relocated him to the other side of the ranch and he was released in a reservoir.

lol. we got salt water crocs over here. they say their a thousand times more aggressive than gators. they just happen to be in all the best hog hunting spots in australia lots of dogs get taken goin for a drink after a hunt.

Yep they're protected, limited harvest allowed. I see no reason to have anything over 6' long. Just asking for trouble when you let them get that big.

Noah is correct, gators are protected. There is a limited number of tags issued per year. I personally am not a fan of gators nor agreed with releasing this one but there was a guided hunt sold on him so he will be gone soon.
