I have a half lab half pitt female around eight months old for free. She hasn't seen a hog yet but I put her brother in a bay pen and he bayed good for his first time. I've taken her a couple times to the woods and the first time she tried to run with the big dogs and got lost and I had to go back later that night and get her the second time she stayed close to me while walking. She's gonna be a smaller dog around 45lbs. Don't have any hunting background, her parents are just yard dogs of a buddy. Mother is a red nose and dad is black lab. Keeps on chain good and rides in truck good. Real good natured sweet little dog. She got in my neighbors chicken coop and killed a few chickens last week and the dog catcher got her and I had to get her rabies shots before I could get her back. So she has some prey drive, lol.
