A few months ago I was contacted by a buddy of mine in the shooting industry and he was telling me that he and a few others were heading down to SanAntonio for a H.A.V.A. (Honored American Veterans Afield) event and they wanted to know if they could come a day early and try to get one of the wounded Veterans a shot on a hog.  The word got out and one of the guys from the NRA also wanted to come and get some footage to use in a future episode of National Rifleman TV to showcase HAVA.  The guys arrived Thursday at lunch and after a big Mexican food meal we headed out to my place to sight in some suppressed AR's that Surefire brought for the hunt.  After the rifles were hitting we drove down to the rice fields and began patrolling the fields for hogs.  By the time the night was over we had 7 hogs on the back of the truck and had seen around 50 all together.  Nothing too big, but a good hunt overall.  Everyone had a great time and our guest of honor, Steve Robison had a blast.  Thank you Steve for your sacrifice and your service to our country!
Check out www.honoredveterans.org to learn more about HAVA!
Thanks to the NRA, Crimson Trace, and Surefire for bringing Steve down!
