i been kicking around the idea of haveing a field trial for woods dogs ...... thinking on makeing some small pens and placeing them in some of the blocks in my pasture from one side of the blocks and haveing turn out spots numbered in different places sending in the blocks .....i can put 5 cages out in different blocks and let the dog handlers draw what block he turns loose in and then time the dog or dogs til the dog bays at the pen .....dog has to stay bayed or a no time ....just something i am thinking a bout ..... a good dog will do well the others want ...but it will be fun ...i have the atv park to hold the event and the pasture too run the competition in ....what ya'll think .... a controlled competition like this should run perty quickly with the use of garmins and being in an enclosure ....

Sounds good to me too, my daughter is now 5 months old and ready for a trip to CAJUN COUNTRY!  I guess the if the hogs are all penned that keeps a field trial legal?  If that's the reason,  how tall will the pens be, because my dogs don't understand the concept of fences.

Just say when, we been teaching her a big Aaaayyeeee
