Do all dogs need to get cut up or beat up by a big sow or boar to make them a good dog eventually? or is there any that never have anything happen to them and catch on?

Curious because I wonder what I need to do with my pup when she's old enough, do i need to let her get her butt kicked in a pen or more controlled envoiroment?

No all dogs don't need to get cut up or beat up by a hog to turn them on.

Three things can happen from what i've experienced. The dog will be ruined, the dog will hate a hog and want to try and catch everything, or the dog will learn to respect the hog and back up and bay.

Now you have to decide if you want to take that chance or not of ruining your dog. If you're going to work her on penned hogs, start small and gradually move up to bigger hogs... letting her build her confidence.

What dog are you talking about?   I'll sure let one get slam-dunked(in an attempt to back one off)but not in a pen where they can get pinned on a fence.

buddys daughter the runt that i kept from the litter my female had, i dont want her to back off because she's gonna be an RCD (thats the plan anyway) but i want her to be smart too, if that's possible with an rcd

Also the brindle curr i have, im wondering if he needs to get his butt handed to him, he's pretty aggressive.
