I had a buddy call me Sunday morning, that wanted to do some hunting. Well it didnt take much for him to convince me, and I was out of the house loading, dogs, wheelers, etc. I got out to our hunting spot around 9am, late start. I cut my dogs out and about 20 mins later one of my young dogs opened up. I sat there waiting for something to put in with him and about 30 seconds later they did. We rode about 20 yards from the bay and cut the bulldogs loose. He weighed 205 lbs. Let me mention that hog prices are down alot, as of Sunday. We got him tied and put up and were off again. Not too long after, the dogs struck again. It was a small boar that weighed about 60-80lbs, we cut him and loaded him up also.

Good job Richard! That hog in the first pic looks like he could be crossed with an ant-eater. Long looking snout. Hog prices are indeed WAY down. We only got .30/lb for the two we sold last week. (195 & 235 lbs). We were high-fiving in anticipation of the steak and beverage money for the deer pasture when we caught those two without a scratch. Instead, we had to settle for just beverages and go hungry without the steak! Priorities!

I got .23/lb for the 205 lb boar. Alot of the trappers start cutting down on traps or close em, when the prices start dropping. Between gas and corn, they say its just not worth it. Glad I'm not in it for the money. I reckon I am way in the negative
