WHICH WOULD YOU GO WITH! IM JUST LOOKING FOR A GOOD DOG!

honestly bud youll get four different answers from four different people. Im not much for cats or hounds but love yella dogs so there is my biased opinion. Have you seen any of the dogs work? or are you just going off what youve been told?

i would go with either the catahoula or that bmc 90precent of hounds are open so this means youll be runnin more than catchin lol both cat and bmc are gritty dogs and with eough will power can shut the big ones down as far as dogos i find they just rebite too much for me if you watch huntin videos youll see what im talkin about so get pitts for that they wont let go or rebite now i could be wrong but ive never owned one nor seen one that rebites

they are not dogs, only puppys....... i think you can get a 1-2 yr old dog for free or cheap and be ahead of the game no matter what breed of dog and go hunt now,a 2 month old puppy maybe next year if nothing happens to him in that time and alot of stuff can happen :)good luck

I pick dogs on personality. I have to feed them even when I am not hunting so I want to like my dogs. If they don't hunt then I don't like them anymore. Without seeing the dogs there is know way I would choose.
I just lost my Dogo pup and my son is asking when he is getting a new puppy. So if you don't want the Dogo let me know. I am trying to get two good Dogos. I am hoping to get one in Feb. So I would not mind picking one up.

I might be wrong but you said 5 pups and you only listed 4! what is the other pups breed? I like curs but if you have personally seen this 4 month old cat gyp find a hog IN THE WOODS and not a pen, then she would probably be your best choice. She is older than the rest and already doing what you want. I personally wouldnt get any of these dogs unless I have seen them do what the owners are saying they will do in person. they are not dogs, only puppys....... i think you can get a 1-2 yr old dog for free or cheap and be ahead of the game no matter what breed of dog and go hunt now,a 2 month old puppy maybe next year if nothing happens to him in that time and alot of stuff can happen :)good luck
X2 on this if you are looking to start right now with deer season ending in a little over a month if you from Texas.

Still too young to decide what is going to be the best, I have a male bmc that was firing at a hog at 4 months, getting gritty, non stop while the hog was out and now he is close to a year old and barely shows interest in a hog. Its all personal preferance.

Several different styles of dog there. You would be best to sit down and think of what you want. A cold trailing, open dog, or a hot nosed silent dog, or a catch dog. Bunch of difference between them dogs you have listed.

sounds to me ya need to find someone a little more truthful to get a dog from.. catching and baying at 2 months old? ? Finding thier own hog baying and catching at 4 months? COME OOOON I have a dogo cat bmc lacy plott pit cross that was just weened that will catch bay and uses the toilet and then flushes. I only want 1 cut vest for him.. to be serious i would have them show me... the dogs you mentioned sure sound too young to be making those claims about. just my opinion

I would stop believeing what people tell you about dogs. A bulldog isn't catching at 8 weeks or a cur bay ing at 8 weeks. Spend the money on an older dog. Pups may do something but it takes the dog knowing what it is doing.

X2 even if you get a pup you will need an older dog to show them what's up. I jumped in and bought dogs. It was the stupidest thing I did. The best dog I got was a trade. Just go get muddy helping others. Find someone that needs a little help. Then you can learn what is going on too. Hunt with many people too so you can see different dogs and hunting styles. That way you can learn what you like the best. The range of different pups says you do not know what you want. That is fine but learn more before getting any dog. By helping others you will gain way more than the person you help. Also NEVER GO BEHIND SOMEONE TO TAKE THEIR HUNTING SPOTS it will come back on you. This is a very small group and it will hurt you for sure.

I agree with dub, go and find someone to hunt with for a few years........
Then start to think about getting some dogs.
