This mod does not have much to to with hunting, but it will get plenty of use at other times.

The enclosures are made of 3/4 MDF glued and screwed, then coated with bed liner material. Sony head unit, 6x9 3 way, 5-1/4 2 way, 10" JL Audio, and a small amp to drive the sub. I have a flip down screen that I have not yet decided if I am going to install. It might come in handy when reviewing videos.

I like it!

Definately go with the drop down DVD monitors that way you entertain the passengers with ETHD Doggin' Texas 1 when the actions a little slow!

If you want to get super-crazy, install a touch-screen computer complete with GPS and google maps installed so you can get a satellite view of the terrain as you ease along.

Sweet!  Got to jam some theme music on the way to a bay to get the catch dogs jacked.

Bryant,

The GPS is not a bad idea. Especially since there is no speedo on the mule, might give me enough reason to install GPS.

Duct tape and baling wire,,,,Lots of it! Grin

Cull Buck,
Gonna have to browse the torrent sites to find some good tunes. Mandi plays classical in the barn at night, claims the dogs don't bark as much :Smiley. Maybe some Metallica Black album will work to get the catch dogs jacked. Grin

Chris,

I was joking, but half-way serious at the same time.  I have a gps-enabled phone and have google maps installed.  You would be surprised how often I use it while hunting.  Being able to view my location from satellite view comes in quite handy at determining brush lines, brushy areas, distances, etc.  You can tell where your headed before you get there.

If you go back and hunt that place we were on Sunday, keep your eyes to the ground.  There's a phone laying out there somewhere all set up and ready to go!   Angry

Bryant,

We will be hunting out there again Sunday AM. I will keep my eyes peeled for the phone. If I find it, I will send you the link to my ebay auction Shocked

The week before, I lost a jacket out there. Still haven't found it.

At this point if it turns up, just keep it and don't tell me about it.

The $68 we got for the hog didn't quite get me there on the purchase of a replacement.  Sad

BTW-  When looking for it, I never let it ring enough times for the voicemail to pick up so those 30+ calls I made to it from your phone shouldn't have cost you anything...
