Anyone have any info on the Eddington Pit line?I just looked at the sire to some pups I am interested in and the dog looked like it had more AB than Pit in him.If you have any dogs out of that line I would really appreciate some pics.This is an chance to show off your bulldogs too Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink

just by reading your post it sounds like they are a bigger line of pits if they are a "true" established line it all depends on what you like....big or small?....i would like to hear more about them myself

Ill just touch and go on this one but his whopper line was mixed with mastiff with the full knowledge of the ruling authorities and with out much hoopla or controversy. BUT another interesting fact is that the poor Guy was beaten to death. Supposedly with one of his wieght pulling trophies  Huh?

Any how, he had the WHOPPER LINE & WILLEMAKET LINE. it soundss like the dog your looking at is from Whoppers line. Nothing wrong with that, if you like em, buy em.

All of that info is easily accessible on the web & lotsa big pits have the blood in them

Eddington's  Whopper was a dogue bordeaux x Johnson ab cross. the ab was mack the masher one hell of a bulldog. i have had a few of these dogs over the years. i love them  my main catch dog is a whooper graddaughter

I think wen I looked back at some dogs mine came out of they have some whopper in em I've been tryin find out bout more history but can't find much they look like wat y'all are explainin.
Here's a male 11 months 96lbs


His aunt at about same age she two now I'll try get some recent pics tomorrow of her she round 80lbs male was just weighed 2 weeks ago at vet getting rabies

t bob and blakebh are right, eddington did also have small dogs too, most are weight pull dogs, I have seen both large and small that are good, they have enough of the pitbull engine on the bulldog chasis to work for our purposes

the dog on my avatar is a hammonds/avant and benedict/bismark cross he weighs 57lbs and is all ear on a hog!!!
