Lance,Corry, and Jarrod(jlingle) came by for a hunt last night. They have been on a little hunting tour in my neck of the woods(Texas panhandle)so I took them out for a little RUN

We struck a nice boar north of the house, I had two of my good strike dogs and a pup down. They ran the boar in frount of the truck and the race was on. I dumped out two big rough curs and started driving toward where I thought they were going. Lance and Corry kicked out a couple of thier rough dogs and we headed to the bay. The dogs finally got the boar bayed solid in a little muddy tank about a mile from where they started. I sent in Jasper from 100 yds out and when we got there it looked like a giant mud wresling contest. Lance got a leg and Jarrod stuck the boar. He was not a trophy but he gave us a great race.

Then, it took about an hour to find the truck, those mesquite flats can turn a guy around...someone said they were sending me a GPS for christmas.  Smiley

It is allways good to meet and hunt with new people and make new friends. Corry took home one of my pups, I hope she grows up to make a nice dog.

Thanks for coming out for a hunt...

Paul T

That was a lotta fun, Paul.  It was kinda funny, me & the guys were kinda driving around Memphis wondering where to try to turn out, and I said... "I know where we can get on a hog!"  I guess the rest is history.  BTW, I got ur Christmas present today.  I wasn't kidding.

Thanks for taking us out & showing us a good time.  We're gonna have to get some of your dogs on some of these "real tough" okie hogs. LOL!!!!!  Just kidding, I know everybody thinks they have the toughest hogs on the planet to catch, just thought I'd poke a little fun.  If anybody has dogs that can run a track faster than yours, I'd love to see 'em.  Those are some bad dudes.  Corry & I ate lunch today & he was still talking about your dogs.

Take care.

Jlingle, Lance ,Cory, ya'll are welcome over here anytime...just wear your running shoes Grin...Most of the time Emily tells me to check the stars before we leave the truck, she is like my own little blond GPS unit...Next time we go hunting I will bring Jessie, Smokie,& Connie they are my fast track dogs. That Weisle dog has only got one eye and had a broken leg last year you should have seen him before he got banged up Cheesy Tell Lance I will save a pup for him and I got one picked for you also...

I have not hunted that new section yet....tues night I think...hope I get some pics...see ya'll soon.

Thanks
