Does anyone know if you can hunt in this area ?? i am from louisiana and do not fully understand the rules and regulations that i have found on the internet it is considered a wma if you have hunted here or know if you can even run dogs on this land would you share your information so i might understand it!

i called a few years back and the lady told me that you could but did not recomend during deer season.
it may have changed i dont know. years ago we fished toledobend lake and stayed at a place called calvins landing which is not there no more but i remember lots of pigs around there

you can hunt hogs with dogs on sabine national forest you need a texas hunting liciene and if you go on moore plantation you need a $48 permit the number i called was 936 897 1068. i talked to them 30 minutes ago.

thanks for the info i have been on the phone today with multiple people and never could get a staight answer, i did talk to a man that is over the wma area u are reffering to as the moore plantation and he definatly informed me that it was illegal to have dogs on this land. im not sayin u are wrong with your information its just that i have had a different answer from every person i have called so just be aware that some of the people that have inforcement in this area have a different view. but i will be hunting the national forest so we may can get together and hunt !

The way I look at it, if you've looked everywhere and can't find anything saying you can't and there is nothing posted saying you can't... then I don't see why you can't.
