Well me, Keith, Bobby, Bolo, and Butch decided to get togther and make a hunt up at Rodney Island...Keith got the invite from David , the lease holder, who brought his son dylan and his buddy Barry.. We got to the island around 2 o clock Friday and planned on getting things settled in and getting ready for the hunt Saturday.....Well we couldnt resist the last few hours of daylight so we each loaded a few dogs and set out for a quick run....We decided to hunt the other side of the island and not hunt where we were going in the morning....We pulled up on a high line and I dropped Parker and Troop and they left hard and went 900 yards and I heard a couple barks and then the hog broke....In the meantime Butch had went up the high line a lil farther and dropped one of his dogs....I watched Parker and Trooper on the garmin run this hog from his bed 250 yards north then back over his bedding thicket and then ran him across the high line and at which point all three dogs got on him....500 yards later I heard a fight and then they decided to catch him and not wait on the bulldogs ( feeling fresh I guess).... A bulldog was sent for added support and we got the BARR OR BOAR Huh?? cuffed.....This hog had no visible nutts but no BARRING scares either.....After we got that hog put in the trailer we dropped again ....We bayed up another one but it broke before we could get bulldogs to it and ran and ran and ran and picked the dogs up a couple miles away.....

Saturday started out with a couple longggggggg races and going recover dogs......Later in the morning Bolo's MOLLY dog found a boar now a barr and bayed it along with Bobby"s Jackson dog and Man finished it up with a good catch....then one of Butches dog found a BIG sow and got her caught.....

We had a good time and made the lease holder happy by catching some of the big hogs that had been eating all his protein feed for the deer......
