Sweet!! A lot of the older, smarter hogs down in south Florida do the same thing... they'll lay up with the herd and as anyone that's been around cattle long knows... them cattle know when you're comin' in the gate before you do!!!
.... soon as them cows get to stirrin', that ol' hog is headed for the hills and you never knew he was there...
We do catch hogs right in the middle of 'em sometimes though, almost like they use the cattle for cover!
Dogs always look at me kinda funny when I send 'em in to a bunch....
