Unloaded the dogs a little after sunrise.  Started about a quarter mile down wind from a pig pipe I have been baiting out in the woods.  We got about 100 yards past the pipe and both dogs rolled out.  we heard them sound off way out, so after about a half an hour of tracking the dogs around they finally got it stopped.  They had it backed up in a dry ravine where we were able to sneak in from the side and get about a fifteen yard shot.  First shot in the head knocked the hell out of him but he was still able to fend the dogs off. Second and third shot sealed the deal.  My pup Peachez got two pokes from this boar, one in the shoulder and one in the hind quarter.  She got a little doctoring and will be fine.  Dont know the weight but it was a nice suprise for Christmas morning.  We were very lucky to get this boar because we didnt even see any sign after that.

Good job guys!!  Anytime you can get a boar like that with only a few pokes to show for it you had a good hunt.  Nice pics.
