Feed them good hunt em hard. The best training can't make up for bad breeding.

X3 Just read the pup. I won't let a catch dog catch before teeth are set but I want my bay dogs baying outside a pen young. But no pressure.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Training begins between 6 and 8 weeks for my pups, mostly just manners. I won't feed one that can't wind, find, stop and hold a hog by itself in the woods by 6 months of age. Ain't got to be the biggest hog in the woods, we can always work on that. ![Wink](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I don't keep many dogs at any given time, but always have a pair of good, rough Florida curs on my yard. Ain't much on posting pics, but did manage to post some some months back for cutter bay I believe his handle was. Ill try and get someone to help me post pics if possible.
