My buddy has a cur that is getting eat up with mainge. Vet tested it and said it was a gentic thing that would not spread. He said to give a little ivermation everyday. Been doing but has been showing any signs of getting better. Anyone have anything that has worked for them. I herd to dip them in used motor oil..... Thanks

I am in the same boat. My dogo has demodex mange and I really thought I was going to have to put her down. She looked horrible. I started giving her .25-.3 cc of ivemec once a day and at first it looked like it wasn't working but after about 3 weeks now she is looking a whole lot better. I sure am glad cause I really like this gyp. Man I would suggest ivomec everyday. At least try it for a month and see what happens. I was very skeptical at first but it really does work. Just takes a lil time

I suggest get Tactic for all skin problems.  15cc in gallon of water and soak the dog and let if dry on the dog.  Do this once a week for three weeks and any time you see some new spots coming back.
Not saying this is a cure all but a great help and you need too work on the imune system also.

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BREED THOSE DOGS-

GET THEM fixed, spayed, netered, altered, cut, whatever you want to call it and the hormones stop cycling help the stress level and will also help to keep the HAirloss down.

If you raise pups out of those dogs you will not be breeding responsibly, and those pups have a 90% chance of breaking out after their first hormone cycle, and thinkl about all the heartache the new owner will have to deal with, the same as you are going through and that would be wrong to knowingly do to anther individual. BE RESPONSIBLE, Don't PASS it on.

Chad a had a high dollar English Bulldog with demadermic mainge she would get what looked like blood blisters between her toes no hair loss we had her dipped at the vet several times before she told us to start her ivomec and after the ivomec got into her system the flare ups were much more controlable, and not as severe. You fellas may just give the ivomec alittle more time to get worked through the dogs system and start working. That fella was right that the pups would have a big chance of having the same problems.
