i would rather buy a young dog that trashed and hunted its rear end off then to waste my time sorting through the finished dog pile. i dnt mind a skunk or opossum here and there or even seeing some white flags, atleast i know the young dog is worken, i can almost always get his mind set in the right direction on HOGS! but like reuben says raise ur own select raise and cull as needed if all fails start over again

Thanks to everyone that replied. yes i have a pile of pups right now that i will be checking out soon as i get the time. have 2 3month bmc's out of really good friends dogs. have a 1/2plott1/2bmc 8wks that i believed we just saved from parvo which is now a 700 dollar pup boy i sure hope he works out!!! lol - paid 200 for him at uncle earls which i don't believe in givn that much for no kinda puppy but my wife and kids wouldn't leave me alone about him all dang day! they played with him for like an hour at that guys boothe while i watched some hog bayn! lol. then i have 5 - 3/8plott,1/2curr,1/8pitt 8wk old pups. i've had a few with this cross b4 and they usually work out good but wanna bark more than a full curr so i plan on getting my stock down to 1/4 plott and see how that does? Just wish i had more time to hunt but don't everybody.....
