I figured of what I am going to do about these running hogs I'm going to get on craigslist and get all the pot bellied pigs I can find then go turn them out and then they will breed with the runners and it will shorten their legs and maybe my dogs can keep up lmao I'm just joking but thought it was funny

Mike and Matt can attest to the fight those pot bellied crosses have in them.  They had quite the experience in Waller county one night a few years ago.

Someone let out a few of those potbellies on a place that I use to hunt. They were some mean little suckers.

I had a friend that had a half pot belly/ half wild in his bay pen at the house and if we put a big boar from the woods in there with in two days he would kill it. He had needles for theeth and they were long. When we would work dogs we had to put him away because he was not scared of any dog and would fight, you dang sure did not want to work any bull dogs on him. When he finally died he had killed several boars and one catch dog that got out one day she was dead in the bay pen when he got home.

Thats what we use up here to start pups on, since the laws are so strict up here.  The ones we had were crossed up, and had some big cutters and were pretty mean. They came all shapes and sizes.  Got a small sow now that dont take no crap.   Wink
