Had a few extra minutes cooped up inside here watching the storms so I thought I'd post a few pics of my dogs. Track - strike dog. Half Plott/whippet,ridgeback/cur cross. Just under 3 years. Sam - 3/4 Walker 1/4 Bluetick. Strike dog Will be 6 years old in June. Lily - 7 months 1/2 hound 1/2 Catahoula (SamXJune). She will be this year's project. Brody - catchdog around 5 years old. Chunk - 7 months old out of Brody. I don't start bulldogs till they're a year, but took him on two hunts so far so he can start getting used to things. Dogs had a 250lb red boar caught. I cut him loose from the Ranger not yet knowing what they had yet and he flew in like an old pro from 130 yards and caught. Will start him good this winter. Butch - Catahoula strike dog. 3 years old. Dallas - Stag 4 years old. Debo - Catch dog around 4 years old. He and Brody have caught some big boars for us this year.

I got Track as a pup from an old cowboy out in Seagoville. His dad was equal parts Ridgeback/Whippet/ Leopard Cur/Blackmouth and was his cowdog. Damndest lookin dog I've ever seen. He was a grey brindle dog with a big square head and a full ridge from neck to tail. He crossed him with a small (45lb) Plott gyp and this is what came out. I got him as a pup and trained him on hogs. He is one of the most intense dogs I've ever seen on a hog - a little too rough at times, but solid and dependable. His downfall - dog aggression. I cut him at a year and wish I wouldn't have now cause it didn't make any difference.
The stag is a coyote kill dog that I'm switching over to hogs. As for now, I'm turning him out into bays.
Thanks for the comments. My dogs work hard for me and I do the same for them as far as care.
