I was looking at the tennessee game deptartments website and it said there were only a few weeks in the year you could hunt hogs with dogs, how can that be with all the people who own them and hunt them regularly. thought i saw someone that posted on here from Tn. Anybody know about it?

i dont know anything about treeing rats, but there ere several hoghunters in middle and east tn. we dont have many hogs in the western part of the state, yet. the law says you can kill hogs any where but the wmas. no season no limit. dogs are prohibited axcept during bear season. nobody knows why, even my game warden was unclear on it. i think alot of them ( gamewardens) look the other way and some hunters claim to be squirel hunting or cathing cows.
