Got back in town the day before yesterday, so we decided to make a hunt early this morning while it was still cool. Unfortunately we got on a pretty bad runner, and when they bayed it was across a couple property lines on some folks that I haven't talked to in probably nine months. It broke after about a half hour and came back but we never did get him stopped again and finally we had to call them in because it was warming up. I was happy with the dogs, for not being worked in nine months they did pretty good. We'll get back out on them before too long. I took a couple pictures this morning while we were waiting around for a bark. The first one is my wife Erin and boys Cason and Eastin, with the catch dog Beetle. It looks like they are all trying to figure out the walkie talkie.  Next couple are just me screwing around taking pictures of Beetle while we were waiting for the other dogs.   |
