I was the same way. Until I started playing with mine and figured out what all the phone could actually do. Now Im on the dang thing all of the time.
I probly wont ever figure out what all it can do, but learn somethin new every day. It is hard to put down. My wife snuck and got it while i was asleep, now i got to get her one too
I told you that you would like one if you ever got one Tom,....give yourself time to learn it and you won't ever go back. I have learned one thing the hard way....don't get a carrier with a magnet in it,....it will make the phone do crazy things when it passes by it......get one that closes with velcro....saves a lot of torment.
Ive always been affraid to use magnet case, I am really liking it so far, it does much more than the phone i had. I figured out a trick to the txting, just drag finger accros letters and it spells the word you want, dont know how it knows what im thinkin, but its pretty neat.
Got me one of these touch screen phones, and I hate it, I have discovered I am severely, touch screen challenged. Got the commando, water proof deal, ill never figure this thing out. Lol

Ihave had my smarty phone for about a month and still fighting with it,
I think i will be fighting this thing for a long time, the thing i hate the most is the batt. life, aint worth a dime! I could internet hog hunt on my other phone for bout 8-10 hrs. this one bout 2. and seems like it takes longer to charge too.
Anybody know if they make a charging cradle for this phone, casio G'zOne commando. It has the charging ports, but didnt get a cradle with it, my other phone did. brigade.
