I have a 10 month old pup that is acting like his hind quarters are cramping real bad. His dad Zeke used to be fine most of the time but after a long swim in the pond or a roading hunt once he would settle down for sleep i would hear him crying like something was killing him.. I would go out and massage his back leg muscles and he would be fine. well my boo dog is doing the same thing. I thought maybe i was working him to much so i let him rest for about 4 days and went to do a walk hunt tonight and he acts like he is in pain and cant run without screaming. Have you all ever had this? Is there something to give them for muscle cramps? I used to mash up bananas for zeke and mix it with his food but that is a pain and i dont know if it helped. These dogs run so much their hind end gets muscled up like crazy.
